Ok, what makes this a rock song? I'm really curious what the definition is.

I like the song! The chorus is catchy as hell it's starting to be a bir annoying I'm just surprised by some of the statements here.

And the next time somebody tells you: ‘You can’t do that’ you can tell them to screw themselves, because it’s your life and you do what the hell you want with it. So this is a song about having a dream and chasing it, till you find the Bright Lights." - Aldo Nova.

Perhaps, it's the nearest we had Bon Jovi come to a rockish song since HAND era, maybe? Perhaps, that's the standard of Bon Jovi nowadays "Living Proof" to judge all others songs to come.....on "Forever" and the next Album(s)

Songs like of the SWW-TD era's are long gone......Now just only if JBJ would let Phil X do a great guitar solo.....

Eh? We haven't even heard the full song and you already want it re-recorded!?

Eh? There have been several songs that rocked at least as much as, some more than, Living Proof since HAND. Devil's In The Temple for one. Born to Follow? Bullet? This House isn't a rock song? I don't think Living Proof is any rockier than that to be honest. Living Proof's intro fools people into thinking it's a rock song.

With the the right amount of buzz, it's possible for Bon Jovi to have a hit song with this in 2024...

Legendary is definitely getting its fair share of radio play on some of the Adult Contemporary stations here in Jersey.

It's definitely a long shot but it could happen if they let it.

Anyway, it's really great to see a new Bon Jovi song get so many positive reviews across all social media platforms... Including his vocals.

Between this song and the documentary, Jon has been completely vindicated.

Shanks more often than not always puts an acoustic guitar on every song. Even if it's not clearly audible it's there to help put some oomph to the electrics and make that wall of sound not as muddy. But on this one it must be really buried in there because there's usually at least one part of the song where it pops out but on this one there's nothing that I can hear 🤷🏻*♂️....

I’m so pissed. This had the potential to be the best BJ song in almost 20 years. But once again they throw in a horrendous production and I can’t help but laugh out loud every time that solo comes up. This could’ve been so much more.

But we don't have to act like they fired out a crackin' hit that's gonna take the world by storm either. They delivered a decent and catchy track. Nothing more and nothing less.
Yeah this is such a valid point. Watching the goalpost get constantly moved for songs you like and songs you don't has been odd to see.

When it lands on the same charts that were deemed irrelevant for Legendary, but using it to prove "everyone loves this song" the circle will be complete.

During final episode of the documentary it was supposed to be uplifting & inspiring to see Jon sing Legendary, but all I could think to myself was "this song really sucks". It would've been way more powerful to hear this at the end as the credits rolled. Or really anything else.

I totally love it and im one of the most critical ever over recent times....The guitar intro, the way the drums kick in with the talk box, it has a real groove to it ....first verse is excellent ... would of preferred a more aggressive solo but iv kind of got used to it now.....its the first jovi song in many a year that has really grabbed me by the balls and has pretty much been on constant repeat...Typical jovi style rock with the signature sound .....instantly recognisable !
