TY Jackie! Good work! I'll check later when I have more time on my hands.

Quote:
Burning Bridges
[...]
Someone shut the lights off, turn the page.
I can't hear it but I think it should be "turned", past tense.

So this is it?! Here it is, no more verse(s)?!

I think that "turn the page" is OK. He's saying to them to turn off the lights and turn the page, like saying "our story is over, move on".

The record co. moved on without Jon's approval or advice, that's why he's so pissed off!

But both POVs are valid.
Mine is: someone sent us packing because someone got fed up with the stories I could write, that's why I wrote this song.

It could be "me" or "you". I heard it both ways and couldn't decide. I can also see two POVs, so I could go either way on "turn" vs. "turned". I was thinking it was a nod to Seger, as the inspiration for WDOA, since that's referenced, too.

Take Back The Night:

(Ooh ooh ooh)
(Ooh ooh ooh)

You're saving days and nights
Are always blaming
This soaked tragic life
So where's the happy ending?
Stucked at the traffic light
It's just the same old song
I'm humming all the words
But I won't sing alone

Listen, I need something different
I'm tired of giving
And time to start living

We’re gonna take back the night
Surrender to me and save my life
Let’s start a fire, let’s start a fight
We’re gonna take back the night

Do you wanna be another casualty?
The one who stands his ground
When everybody leaves?
It’s time for taking sides
It’s time to face the truth
Too late for turning back
So what’cha gonna do?
Listen, I need something different
There’s no time for reason
I’m tired of bleeding

We’re gonna take back the night
Surrender to me and save my life
Let’s start a fire, let’s start a fight
We’re gonna take back the night

[Guitar solo]

Listen, I need something different
I'm tired of dreaming
This time I'm screaming

We’re gonna take back the night
Surrender to me and save my life
Let’s start a fire, let’s start a fight
We’re gonna take back the night

Take back the night
We're gonna take back the night

Could be some mistakes, specially in the first verse but that's what I hear.

Not sure about the first lines. I guess it's "say that/saying", not "saving" though.

Stuck at the traffic light
It's just the same old song
I'm humming all the words
But I won't sing alone

I heard "say that" a couple times and "words" too, so could be any of those.

Well, what about the "Shooting Stars" thing? Is that a reference to something?

Also, seems to be

This so-called tragic life

Heard it again, pretty sure that is "i'm humming all the words". Will correct it. Still I'm not 100% sure about the other ones, I really can't hear well.
