Wow... Jon said he had a lot of stuff he needed to get off his chest but I never knew Richie's departure had such an impact on him. I don't mean to go THERE again but... makes sense. This album's lyrics are some of the best Jon has ever wrote. I don't care if it's a 'fan album'. It's good and that's that.
Odds are it's aimed at the label, not Richie. I'd rather not go there either but Richie's leaving had to have effected him.
