Yes I know, that was my point. You cannot rely on Jon to be honest in what he says 90% of the time.

True enough. But after they've made his vocal state such a central point of the biopic, all eyes are gonna be on him if he decides to tour. I doubt he'd get away with lip syncing or shitty vocals.

He may very well have been bluffing ("eh, who's gonna remember me saying that by then"), but it's not like doing that hasn't backfired on him in the past!

One of several negative comments I've read in regards to Kiss The Bride:

"Oh boy. That's bloody horrendous. I was actually contemplating buying the new album based on the first 2 singles. But I'll save my money now just to avoid owning this on cd. Holey moley"

As songs like American Reckoning and Do What You Can reduced sales/interest for 2020, so too shall songs like Kiss The Bride reduce sales/interest for Forever. Bravo Jon. Bravo.

I don't think you can judge an Album based on snippets. You have to hear it full to make an proper decision, BUT some snippets you can get a good idea what the Album is like....

I think after one minute of Kiss The Bride you know what you are in for on that song, but most people couldn't even make it through the full minute.

Good lord, catastrophizing much? I've said it before but taking one quote from a random nutter on Twitter or YouTube and extrapolating it to the general population is INSANE.

What if I posted a comment from one person saying "Kiss The Bride is the most beautiful song ever. Can't wait to buy the album." and extrapolated from that that Forever will sell more copies than Slippery When Wet?

What is this? We are now trawling comments to make low effort posts? Put your own opinions, why do you need validation from a random quote from a random person you are not even willing to properly reference? Who made this quote? Richie, your five-year old niece, the man next door?

Well as I said it was one of several negative comments. If you genuinely think a song like Kiss The Bride is going to increase sales/interest in Forever then cool. (rose colored glasses)

My opinion when I heard the title/premise of the song was it would be an absolute cringe fest. After hearing the 1 minute snippet I was more than right, imo. This one opinion, of which there were several was what I expected the reaction to be to a song like Kiss The Bride and I was using it to support my commentary on how Jon's delusion is eroding his fanbase. I think Richie would concur it's a steaming pile of dung.

Can you not see how crazy that way of thinking is?
