Legendary - new single

They're clearly using the most radio friendly song on the album to be the front facing entry point. Using Phil's words against him that he said the album would be rockier and he's lying because this isn't that? This....system isn't new. This is how it's always been. A proper rock song as the first single was never going to happen.

I need to digest and figure out the lyrics but the beat has some energy and it's not a live your life song so...on that plane I'm already pleasently surprised.

Yes, Jon mentioned that he wrote that song for his daughter Stephanie for her wedding and she hasn’t heard it yet.[it will be included in the new album]

Probably the worst first single for me (even behind Limitless and Because we can). THINS was decent especially live.
Ain't Done Yet is a pretty good unreleased song compared to this.
Whatever... I'm pretty the bonus tracks will be amazing at least.

This reminds me of Rollercoaster, which was my favorite song from THINFS. I doubt it'll grow on me THAT much, but a studio version is bound to sound better.

That four on the floor bassdrum pattern during the verses has got to go though. I mean, it's fine sometimes, but they've become extremely fond of it lately

He also said it will be the wedding song for the next 100 years….sceptical on that - but we’ll see!!

I just feel like we've heard this song 1000 times already.

Back to the Woooooooosssssssss. I hear When We Were Us, Limitless, and so many others.... I want something a little edgy or universal... I don't need anymore Jon songs about himself or the band. A written song that other artists would fight to cover.

And I'm trying my best to avoid the Live Versions. They just ruin it. 3 listens and now I'm done. I need to hear the studio track.

When you guys say you don't want a song about Jon or the band, how are you getting that lyrically from this one?

It feels very much like a boy/girl relationship song more than about the band itself.

It's about Jon's life, about the time he met Dorothea and that he's happy it all turned out the way it did.
