Passionate and heated sex between lovers is part of a healthy relationship. He didn't reduce anything, he wrote about one aspect of a relationship.

Being prudish about sex isn't going to get you very far or lead to a healthy relationship, particularly if you're reacting this way to something barely PG-13 related.

She probably did, but that was at the time when saint Jon could do no wrong and we were all bad fans for criticizing him. Now we are the bad ones for not seeing what a hypcrite and liar he is

And he wrote it about Dorothea, his wife. After all the years they've been together, I think it's admirable he still has that fire, so to speak, for her.

I don't find anything wrong with the song lyrics and I don't think it reduces a relationship to just sex. It's actually pretty cool that he can write a song like that about someone he's been with for so long.

I'm just not a big fan of love ballads so I skip it pretty much every time I play the CD. It's not a bad song, it just isn't my thing.
