It's 2024 and people still can't just switch a VPN to New Zealand go avoid the geo blocking?

Kind of underwhelmed by the whole song to be honest. Especially the drums are somewhat dragging. The verses are nice, the build-up to the chorus as well, but then it just fails to take off. Better than Legendary and overall decent, but I think Jon's definition of a big rock song is just different to mine.

Perhaps you will find find a song which is better than this on" Forever" perhaps?

I'm sure fans can agree that "Living Proof" is better than anything than 2020 ( expt: Beautiful Drug, Blood on the Water and Luv Can) and THINFS ( EXPT: THINFS and We Dont Run) WAN, The Circle and Lost Highway.

man if ever a song was calling for a screaming guitar solo then... somehow Shanks or Phil is channelling Bobby... temper your hopes if you haven't heard it yet, you've already heard the best bits I'm afraid.

The guitar was baffling me. I think it is Shanks.

He got a couple of moments on THINFS - Born Again Tomorrow and the best track that didn't get on the record in All Hail The King, but yeah not really letting him rip here. I'm pretty sure it's him and not Shanks purely cos there's a little vibrato on the notes, Shanks seems to play everything very straight.

The credits on Youtube for the song when it's uploaded will clear it up, Shanks or Phil X on Guitar? Or the Video itself.....

I don't have any issues with the talkbox on It's My Life, but I find it to be annoying on this song. In the verse I would rather just a guitar riff than whatever it is phil is doing to that thing. pre-chorus/chorus seem ripe with melodic hooks but weak vocals prevent it from reaching the heights needed for a rock anthem.

They don't, Shanks gets top billing and credit for everything.

Edit: I'm convinced it's Phil though, if you listen to the outro solo it's nearly identical but he plays it slightly differently and with more energy - reminds me of Beautiful Drug which was also him. And echo's of Walls, again his solo. I guess he feels like he has to hold back for Jovi or gets told to, one way or the other...
