Will you listen or hold out?

I loved listening to the snipets when NJ Deluxe and BB came out. I still remember hearing the Teardrop and I'm Your Man snippets and thinking "man i can't wait for these songs to come out, they are freaking awesome"

For the first time in, like forever, I'm going to hold out and listen to it when it comes out. Haven't done that since Crush. I just want to bring back that feeling of getting something on the day of release (well, nowadays I'll just start up Spotify instead of going to the record store, but whatever...) and not knowing anything about the songs beforehand. It's a welcome change, wether I'll like the record or not remains to be seen. When I got TD back in -95 my first reaction was "woah, this is different!" and I didn't really know what to think about it at first. When I got Crush it was Another "woah, this is different!" but something I didn't come to appreciate as much as the masterpiece five years prior.

So we'll see. But release-day it is. No doubt.

I hated it. Ruined most of the album as Id already decided i disliked most of it and then when release day come round i already had about 6 songs due to Itunes pre-order.

No pre-order this time. just the disc!

I still remember having that same reaction when I listened to TD on release day back in 1995.

Hearing snippets ruins that "first listen" for me, so I won't be listening to anything but the single.

Speaking of snippets ruining things, anyone else remember Everyday being leaked early by that radio station that had it's call letters interspersed throughout the recording? Talk about ruining the first hearing of a song!
