I think Rolio is right. We're just gonna get shit that we have already heard before, that we all have. Obie will never pull his finger out and give us what we really want. the NJ Deluxe was so underwhelming.

What I want:

CD1: Hammersmith 1990 - in its entirety in glorious mastered clarity
CD2: 15 live quality tracks from the KTF and These Days tour
CD3: 15 live quality tracks from 2000-2010 including the raraties from the O2 residency.

Anything else I am just not interested in

Any new release I like to pre-order/buy on the day but IF this is a 'Because We Can Tour' mix of songs, I highly doubt I'd spend any money on it. I'd be so disappointed if that was the case...

If it is from that shite then it will just go to reaffirm that the Band is just not in touch with the fans whatsoever

But who are the fans in 2014? The Dry County fans are just 1% of the fan population. And of that population, 90% only come here for new information and have no real interest in participating within any other topics so this board really just represents about 30 of Bon Jovi's millions of fans.

I think Backstage Members are the real fan targets. They still enjoy the more recent band activity.

The only thing I would hope is on our side here is:

- How could the band release anything for a 30 year anniversary under the band name without Richie on guitar? Although the early WAN tour performances with Richie are better the the later ones with Phil, I just don't think there is enough material for a proper live album or DVD with just Richie's performances.

- The already released "Inside Out" a few years ago. Why would they release basically the same thing again?

- If Obie was in the vault looking through the NJ demos, one would think that he was in there looking for live material too. Why record and have all these older shows in the vault if they plan on doing nothing with them?

- Any type of milestone release should represent something collective throughout all the years. Not just the past 5.

If this is a legit release, I hope they do a better job of putting it together than that did the first live album. I listened to it once and knew I had bootlegs that were better.

This will be so disappointing if it's a live CD compiled of post 2k performances. I only have about 30 soundboard concerts and 5 official releases all of which could be heard on YouTube.

The last thing I or anyone else on this board needs to hear is another live version of You Give Love A Bad Name, It's My Life, or any Bon Jovi hit song for that matter.

We need some rare shit. Something to get excited about.

Since it's called "30 Years of Rock & Roll" it's a safe bet to assume it will be a career-spanning compilation and not a mix of the last couple tours..

Collector's Choice Music described the product as a 2CD album.
So most likely it will be just 30 songs to celebrate the 30th anniversary

I believe that half of the content will be rarities, but I have no doubt that at least the second half is a sort of "best of" songs (to please the average listener).
