Well well well, if we were in the year 2011/2012, I would agree with Jerry, in fact I said it at the time. Now the thing doesn't make sense, because as someone on this board said (now I don't remember who it was, I'm sorry) Jon needs a trusted producer with whom he can feel safe to address his weak points, such as the current state of his voice, and who better than Shanks, since he is a great friend and collaborator, and understands very well what Jon is trying to do.

So now, more than ever, here is my message to the Jerrys of the world: --> https://i.ibb.co/kKR2702/TEAM-SHANKS.jpg

The involvement of D. Kind is a good idea, but please not Shanks as (Co-)producer. He has ****ed up enough. There is a reason Richie is working with Bob Rock.

As far as songwriting goes, maybe they'll get Ed Sheeran on the team sometime? They're already in contact, as Ed recently revealed to Howard Stern.

Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse with this band....

Ed Sheeran has a track record of writing hits for other artists, but they're usually for artists from his generation. He wrote a song from Robbie Williams a few years ago (called Pretty Woman) and it was hardly any special, it wasn't even a single and very forgettable song overall. I figure the result might be the same for Bon Jovi, but it would be an interesting experiment for sure. Too bad Jon does not seem willing to work with people outside of his inner circle these days.

It's nice to see Jon decide to maybe work with Ed Sheeran on Bon Jovi's New Album.

I wished Jon did this more when he was at his peak!

Could Ed Sheeran and JBJ Sing a song together, perhaps? With Ed outshining Jon? Could Taylor Swift duet with Jon? From a PR view it's gold even if Jon vocals are terrible now?

With new involvement with D.Kind it confirms what liljovi said that a new Album is in development, I can't imagine that's for the Box-Set Anniversiary?

If Jon is going to sing every song in one note, no new music will have any passion or depth.

Live? Yes. Album? No. There are tricks.....

Unless a miracle happens with JBJ's vocals that what we have.

I'm sensing we won't get a box set but a new album. Just like Jon had called the record company off a few times with planned live or greatest hits records in the past.
