New Studio Album - Forever

Do you all reckon it was always planned as 2nd single, or something changed in last month, perhaps after reactions all around? Cause somebody here said that Jon was kind of convinced that We Made it Look Easy is next single

I honestly don't think it was decided which was going to be first. He's plenty of times said the same thing pre-album release that ends up changing ("we're thinking I'm With You is the second single" etc) The fact that it was in that sample pack tells me it was always going to be one of those three next.

It was me who said that. Jon didn't say it was going to be the next single but said that We Made It Look Easy was how he saw Prayer after Bad Name. And when the song finished for us he said 'come on, you can't tell me that's not a hit single on the radio'

Then they played Living Proof and it was 10x better so much better choice.

Probably yeah. But I do think that Kiss the Bride is released also, and it wasn't it that sample pack if I'm not mistaken.

I just wish Living Proof was 1st single. As it is not, I wish now promo is real and hard pushing for this, and not just let it die 2nd week

Like, did anybody in subtle or less subtle way said, cmon this is a hit?

It was probably ought to be WMILE, Living Proof or Waves... anyway, the reaction for Living Proof after the snippet aired was so good they might have changed their minds, and I don't doubt it.

It's funny that in the clip Jon actually acknowledges that a rock song is what the fan base really want....

Anyway, now we have real quasi-experiment, so let's see if Jovi in 2024 can scratch some heads and tap in rock audience worldwide.

It's basically a single I wished for since HAND, and it doesn't seem to be drowned in production, everything is rather clear (so kudos to Shanks for not going overboard this time).

My only condition is that it gets solid promo push. If yes, then I'll live or dieon the shield of Jovi having a rock kind of hit, that stadium audiences will know ala HAND, instead of using it for toilet break. If I'm wrong, though, then I'm wrong, but no better than real world experiment to test it

I do think the listening party preview of "Forever" reaction may have convinced JBJ to release "Living Proof" as number 2, I still think that "we made it look easy" or "Kiss the Bride" we be number 3, but according to people who listened to Forever who were there at the listening party there even better songs than living proof, so we shall see if JBJ has taken that on board.....
