Personally I think AR's style of vocals lend well to that style of song, others will disagree. Terrible vocals for a rock song tho.
"I can't imagine how bad that take was where he actually stopped himself" I'm genuionely curious, did you watch the doc?

I haven't seen the doc, I'm not interested in watching 5 hours of jon play up his vocal struggles now that he's been caught.
Were these scenes where jon and everyone are so aware before or after the fallout from the last failed tour, where it got to the point where jon had no other choice but to acknowledge his vocal problems?
Are you saying jon didn't know his vocals were shot and was not trying to get away with shot vocals on the 2020 record and on that last failed tour?
The people that are so aware now of jon's vocal struggles couldn't tell his vocals were shot during the recording of the 2020 album? Or during the rehearsals for the tour that was to follow.
