Well it will be coming in the mail tomorrow. I won't be home to get it until Thursday though.

I've been having weird issues with my surround sound setup anyway so I may hold off on listening until I get the problem fixed. Last time I put in the SWW DualDisc it sounded bad. My center has been acting weird

Stupid question, but is this a CD with Blu-ray sound, or just a Blu-ray? I don't listen to music on my Blu-ray player. Pretty much just on my ipod or in my car, so a Blu-ray means nothing to me.

I was thinking the same ...... I think its just a blu ray so wont play in the car its not much use to me either ....

Looks like it was released in Germany only. I got mine yesterday, but haven't listened yet. I don't have a great sound system on my blu-ray player so I don't know how much better it will be for me.

I have copy. It does sound absolutely brilliant.

There are various extensions to the songs and added lyrics, guitars etc.

I assume these are the same as the dual disc, but I don't have a copy, so can't compared.

The 5.1 mix is brilliant and in addition the sound and mix of the songs (volume of the various parts) is really quite different. It's hard to explain, but for example the wall of noise as Pink Falmingos finishes and the bass, guitar and drums kick in, is totally different to the CD or LP, it's breathtaking.

Inevitably some songs work better than others.

In my mind, the incredible sound and extras makes this an essential addition to any collection.

One final thought - I am still very confused about the release date and distribution of the disc. I pre-ordered from Universal direct on their webpage, they cancelled my order as it was not being released. I went on ebay and brought a sealed copy from a private UK seller, for £4 less than Universal. All a bit odd.

Theres not the market for it

in UK weve had about 5 versions of the album - do we need another? Not really.

The label would lose money releasing this.
