And Esther, if you want a good version of Silent Night, send me a PM. I am the owner of Bon Jovi File Sharing, and for 10E/10$ you can become a member and download as many live versions of Silent Night the users at BJFS can come up with. Including the one that Bon Jovi offer you. And you can download as many live shows as you want as well.

Everytime someone says they would like a life performance of a certain song you start advertising your website

If you go to the Vault website (US people) the other tracks that will be available are listed. It's Hey God for TD.

In going to the mall today, I saw every one of the Special Editions at FYE for $19.99. I actually resisted the urge to buy one of them just to check out. However, about a half hour later I ended up in Best Buy, and out of sheer curiosity picked up New Jersey and These Days for $13.00 each. My honest opinion is that they're a much nicer collector piece than I thought they'd be. but nothing spectacular. One thing that really pissed me off however, the back cover of every album has been changed to a live shot from that tour. It messes up the flow of every record. Here's a bunch of photos:

The new back cover of New Jersey:

I was very pleasantly surprised that Alec wasn't cropped and/or airbrused out of this photo.

Nice pictures.
Pity it are such small digipacks so the CD's will be damaged when pulling them in or out of the sleeve.

I salute you,

New Jersey CTD:

These Days:

The new back cover of TD:

I'm not sure if this is a misprint on the CD, or some sort of hidden track. As you can see, the cd has:
13. Something For The Pain (Live)
13. This Ain't a Love Song (Live)
14. Diamond Ring (Live)
My guess is misprint (and no, the vault track for TD isn't STFP, it's HG)

Couple of quick notes:
-I haven't been able to access the Vault yet.
-The liner notes for each release are well written, more music related than the usual BJ fluff pieces.
-The packaging is really nice, and the photo selection (at least on NJ and TD) is actually pretty good.
-All in all, it's probably not worth it to replace the entire collection, but picking up your favorite album (as long as you get it for cheap) is probably worth it. I know I'll be picking up KTF.

As good as you think the packaging is; re-releasing an album and not including the lyrics in the booklet is a rather odd and poor decision. Especially for a band like Bon Jovi who claim to be excellent songwriters and always take great pride in their lyrics. To be honest, I feel that the whole packaging is very low budget.

Low budget it is, having two tracks 13 on the disc itself.

Thanks for sharing Brian. Cheap it may be, but better than I expected. My These Days is on the way, I'm looking forward to reading the linear notes. Are they written by the band?

Probably going to get KTF and NJ as well as The Circle...damn it
