The german Amazon Page says, that ....

"sämtliche Studioaufnahmen noch einmal neu gemastered wurden" (every Studio recording has been newly mastered again)

Well, though I'm not too familiar with the 1998 remasters (I just own Bon Jovi and 7800° til now) I think they didn't put any new work in that, as it was posted here before.

IMO: Lie!

New work means "covers, pictures" or sound??

I had listened 2 albums: SWW & NJ and I hear BIG differences betwen this remastering (2010) and old remastered albums.
Especialy in NJersey sound is very "clear" and powerfull. I only don't like what they did in "Wild Is The Wind" because this song is better on old remastering for me (here is too clear). Rest NJ sound fantastic for me and very fresh.
In SWW changes are not spectacular as in NJ.

It's strange because in Polish board many people see differences but not all like it. I'm still waiting to hear "HAND".

Love For Sale sounds slightly clearer on the 2010 version. There was probably some type of cleanup, especially on the older records.

Love for Sale is one of those songs that sounds better a bit dirty and distorted. My version of Homebound Train is a bit clicky though nearer the start. What's your version like?

It still has the dirt and distortion, just seems to be a better quality mix than 98. As for HBT, I haven't compared them back to back yet. I will though.

Is the same remix, but it sounds higher volume.

What even higher than the remasters? If that's the case they may have upped the gain too much like a lot of modern music. I hope that's not the case.

That's what I expected and yes, there is really little value to these. I admit to wanting most of the live tracks but have not yet decided whether to buy individual tracks where allowed or just take the jump and buy the discs. It depends on what live tracks are made available on the vault.
