That's a month off, 2 months of work, then 3 more months off. Jon did most the work for Lost Highway in regards to promo, mixing and producing.

There is a pic of Richie with Dan Huff from early December 2006, after yeah idk how much time he spent in the recording studio, maybe you’re right that he had little to do with the recordings after December till about March, except the new songs written probably in early 2007, so theorically Richie spent some time in studio also for those songs. (or Shanks or other guys did Richie’s guitars parts in the new songs also there
