Feels like X-mas when I was a child.
It just got online in my country.
I almost called in sick this morning. Now I need to wait 6 more hours to get home from work.
Damned I am excited. The last time I felt like this must have been in 1988 when I ran from school to the record store the day they released New Jersey.

That was a good interview and the interviewer pushed him and made him a little uncomfortable. But at this stage so much bullshit comes out of Jon's mouth that I think I need to stop reading the interviews. It's true, they could not have done this documentary without Richie's involvement. If they did it would be completely meaningless. Even Chopra said this! and the hair stuff...my god, come on Jon...

The "low IQ high RPM" comment is not saying Jon is self-indulgent. Is that what you are asking? If so, that comment is saying the music is low IQ.

No, I'm saying the whole review is tilted on Jon and the documentary being self-indulgent. And my tongue in cheek comment on that is that writer of review is also self-indulgent with this kind of very cringe comment. Like today we have very high IQ pop music, versus Bon Jovi's heyday? Yeah right.

I saw 5 minutes and I already love it.. it starts with a shot of the Jersey shore where Kathleen and Paul took me when I visited. Aaah, it gave me chills.

Unfortunately, I'm going away on a long planned trip with a few friends and I know I won't have time to watch it. I'm afraid I'm gonna binge watch it when I'm back on Sunday. So this is the last time I've opened this thread

I just watched the first episode. Love it. I think I'll be binging the last 3 episodes tonight.

There is nothing ground breaking or new that we havent heard before. But to see it played out visually and hearing Dave and Jon go into detail about how it all came about... there's something special about it.

It also confirms small things that us fans have always suspected, for example Whole Lot of Leaving and Lost Highway being in the set because it is easy for Jon to sing. (I was actually surprised to hear Jon himself say it would be a lull in the show).

I LOVE the ending of episode 1. Makes you wanna jump straight into episode 2.
