I've been noticing since The Circle.

Take We Weren't Born To Follow as an example. That doesn't sound like Richie at all and the single was released without a solo. Then a shit storm happened and the album track was different because of that.

We are too critical of them thinking they owe us something, it's his life and his decision. Now finally he apologized for the way it happened. So, the blame game for me is closed with that.

For myself, I'm still not sure was his exit rash decision or rational long-brewing decision (not just the way it happened). Obviously he was unhappy though. He says he's not sorry for it, but with hindsight, I'm not sure. But probably doesn't matter, it's again personal.

For what it's worth, it's different context for everybody now. Both Richie and Jon are humbled with last decade of time, for different reasons. Hopefully reunion is due.
The way he did it, looks like when you're afraid to be "convinced" to do something you don't want to do.

It's OK when you're a kid, not OK at 50. Both Richie and Jon acted like two spoiled children. I expected more from a man that's described here as having good "work ethics".

And by the way, he needed surgery in 2013. That's almost a decade ago. This is work ethics ladies and gents.

You can clearly listen on What's Left Of Me that backing vocals isn't Richie. It's David, just like many songs on Burning Bridges. It always caught my attention.

Now I understand.
What? No, it's Richie on backing vocals, not David. David didn't take over for backing vocals until Burning Bridges (I assume recording over Richies takes)

That's something I picked up on in the doc. They seems incredibly childish. You're adults, just sit down and talk it out.

I can't stand John Shanks even more now knowing he's basically the reason Richie left, even though Richie didn't say it directly. He more than alluded to it. Thanks for splitting up the band, jackass.

Even more aggravating is the fact that Jon must have known Shanks and Richie didn't like each other, but Jon chose to keep Shanks around while his longtime band mate 'brother' walked away. So disrespectful.

Does anyone have a definitive list of the songs included in the documentary, including which live versions are featured etc? I'd like to do a playlist. Bit of a task I know...going through the credits we have the following band related tracks.

Living Proof sounds great.

Interesting to see the setlists on the desk. Assume this is what Jon has been working through. Can make out the following:

Just Older
Limitless
Prayer
Lost Highway
Runway
Saturday Night
Sleep When I'm Dead
When We Were Us
Legendary
These Days
This House
Wanted
Who Says
While Lot Of Leaving
Always
Blood On Blood
Lay Your Hands On Me
Bed Of Roses
Born To Be My Baby
Born To Follow
Have A Nice Day
I'll Be There For You
In These Arms
It's My Life

Possibly Bad Name and Beautiful Drug at the top of the second page, with one other I can't make out.

Same staple songs unfortunately. Would love to see some other tracks popping up.
