I am not completely sure, hut I think that was a different time, and later at that, doing the Stairway to Heaven. She was on American Idol quite a few times, actually, at least four times I can remember right away.

But I actually stopped waiting for this "actively". I think that's actually a good way to spare myself some nerves There's nothing we can do about this, and when it drops, it drops. And when it does, I'll be instantly ready to hear this stuff

I have to admit that I'm kinda jealous to see Richie working with Bob and not Jon... what would be cool is a joint effort between the two (Shanks and Rock for different tracks and sounds)... although Bob doesn't come cheap. I think he's more of a Richie fan than Jon...

TBH, if the picture was just Bob and Richie, I might actually be excited but she is just completely turning me off to this entire project... The second I hear her voice on a song, I'm going to throw up... That I got you babe clip was awful...

After HAND, Jon said that John is going to be doing all he albums going forward and he wasn't lying about that... I'd just love to see Jon in the studio with Bob Rock.

Haha, good deal Manbour! I generally do the same, but THINFS has gotten me excited for new music, and reminded me how much I enjoyed AOTD.

I'm actually most happy to see Richie looking happy and healthy. Last time I checked in was when we got video of him and Orianthi coming out of some building and him looking strung out.

She also had up pics with Robby Krieger at the house - said came to dinner and laid down some tracks for their record - or something close to that. So, still recording.

Of course I'm very looking forward to the new album, as Richie's solo work has proven to be very good (for me)! Especially with Bob Rock on board, I think they have a lot of potential there. (But that's probably nothing new for most people here).

But I guess all the delays and (legal?) issues and so on might have led to such a let's call it "fatalistic" attitude.

Yes, Bob Rock is producing and playing on the album that will be released when it will be released.
