What I'm saying is, there is a right and wrong way to change... being yourself and applying your talents are your two biggest assets... no monster guitar solos? Really? It's one thing to evolve but another to chase a trend... Imo, this is not Richie evolving as an artist... He's trying to be something he's not which is a 28 Year Old Top 40 artist...

Hi, my first post & happy to find this forem once more. I'm so let down by it. I've always been a big fan of Richies but was this worth a 3 year wait? Hell no. I can't believe fans are wetting their panties over this offering.. What happened to the double album of songs he spoke of when in Australia? It's gonna be slated majorly. An EP for the fans we've waited so long is piss poor from a guitarist who had the world at his feet.. this is nothing more than an Ep with Orianthi and occasionally Richie. Sorry Orianthi, your big mistake was leaving Alice Coopers band. Richie, go back to Bon Jovi. least you had a regular album to record & fans to perform to. Jon could kick your ass, Orianthi cannot. I loved every Richie album - I know his capable of so much more but my hope in producer Bob Rock has been crushed also... when I see RSO, i think of Robert Stigwood Organisation. Nothing works or fits.

We don't know what the release schedule will but I bet it'll be announced Sept 29th. You're getting really mad over something that isn't even clear what it is. FWIW there's a lot of Richie on these songs, just not the type of songs we're used to.

I'm not mad - disappointed, very. My understanding is its the 29th and everyone is saying on Facebook its going to be an EP. Maybe they know something we don't? ah we shall see i guess.

Absolutely it's an EP but the question is when is the next one coming out. If it's an EP every few months that's cool. If it's an EP to tide us over until they announce the full album, it could even be that.
