Does anyone else cringe just a little at certain lyrics? Not enough to ruin a song, but they just make you react a little negatively.

For instance:

Come on up to our house you could never stay too long....
But we can't stay here tonight

Reaction: So, which is it????

If YOU were born again tomorrow *I* wouldn't live my life any other way

Reaction: Don't change person mid-sentence!!!!

I'm singing carpe diem
I'm saying seize the day

Reaction: Yes, I know. That's what carpe diem means. You're being redundant.

But there are some really great lyrics on the album too. I'll focus on those later.
