Default THINFS - Video Reactions

http://vevo.ly/NZBArk

So the single and video have arrived. What is your reaction to the video?

I love the exterior shots of NJ with Jon driving around. It makes me think of Destination Anywhere and captures a moody side of NJ. I've watched it 3 times now, which is more than the norm as I have a tendency to ignore new Bon Jovi videos after an initial viewing. It's what I think of when I think of Bon Jovi.. moody and NJ.

I can do without the band performance shots. Performing inside just doesn't work for me. It should have been outside with sweeping aerial shots. Also, someone really needed to give Jon a mic stand to focus on and cut the mugging/smirking.

I'm pretty much expecting when they play this live he is going to be planted in front of it while playing an acoustic guitar. This is precisely what I didn't like about BWC when they played it live. Imagine YGLABN being performed that way. Just ...no. If you're going to just stand there with no energy, it's time to go get a beer or piss.

Starring Jon Bon Jovi in Driving Miss Daisy.

The House is on the video. Shanks tweeted the pic, the cover of the album will be this house.

Of course Jon is gonna play his acoustic live...

I like the video a lot. Never cared to watch the BWC video ever agin (think I've just seen ome version out of 4 or how many they did), but this I'd like to watch again.

It's been some time that I'm actually not embarassed to show and play a BJ lead single/video to other people...

Like David I love the scenes of driving around NJ - so familiar and it looks like home. They really emphasize the roots growing in the video - until the final picture of the house rooted.

I think part of the message is that this is where their (the band's) roots are and they are showcasing that.

This house was built on higher ground - I like it. And of course the "I'm Coming Home" speaks to me big time as I did just that - and came home.

Yes it's derivative but I guess I'm a sucker for an upbeat melody and a good message.

I liked the whole "root" thing too!! I enjoy the vibe. I actually liked BWC song but the video didn't do much for me at all. I've watched this one a few times already.
