If you type Bon Jovi in YouTube video search, this song doesn't even appear in the drop-down list of suggestions. And if you type "Bon Jovi This", it still suggests This Ain't A Love Song before it does THINFS.

As Rolo mentioned in another thread, Metallica's new single is crushing this in a shorter amount of time.
For a song just released to radio a few days ago you've written it off awfully quickly.

Metallica is on another level. It's their first new song in 8 years and for some reason it's always an even in the metal community as well as the mainstream rock audience whenever they release something new. Jovi s song is new and they just released an album last year. The song is doing fine, not amazing but not a failure either....

Artists or bands that have been around for 30 years do not usually have sleeper hits. Whatever their first week sales/downloads/chart positions are, it will always be their peak.

I imagine there will be TV appearances such as the talk shows and awards shows where the song will have even wider exposure. At this point, the release of the single and video is hardly enough to raise awareness of the single.

You're talkind crazy. Long time banda fall in and out of cool all the time. Its not unheard of for songs to get popular once promo starts. Youre not even giving it a chance here. Barely even hit radio and is getting decent numbers.

They are a heavy metal band that has sold many albums, his music is not as accessible but nevertheless their last album sold better than Bon Jovi. On the tours, they don't many concerts for a tour, they don't want to burned. And on the set list, I must say that metallica varies a lot better than Bon Jovi. And in recent years has made impressive things, like playing full -the black album, playing full -the Master of Puppets ablum, playing full -Kill Em All and Ride The Lightning album, all songs from their latest album Death Magnetic has been played live, and they return every so often bring songs of Load-Reload, and make a lot of very cool covers.

I agree that her new single Hardwired is not much, but is fast and furious, enough stimulating to take the full album, which will be double. His new snippet sounds promising though.

But Metallica stop and talk about Bon Jovi. This House Is not For Sale, not bad, but not rocking out properly. Waiting in the hope the next advance.

Yeah, Metallica does a good job with their setlist. It's not far too compare sales from an album that was released in 2008 to sales of an album that came out in 2013 though... album sales in general are nosediving. Industry wide. I think there were only 2 or 3 platinum selling albums last year.

I don't compare with 2013.

Death Magnetic debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, selling 490,000 copies in just three days of availability. It is the band's fifth consecutive studio album to debut at #1.

Death Magnetic ( 2008 ) Nº1 during 3 first weeks.
1º Week No.1 --- 490,000 copies
2º Week No.1 --- 337,000 copies
3º Week No.1 --- 132,000 copies

HAND (2005)
1º Week No.2 --- 202,000 copies

Lost Highway (2007)
1º Week No.1 --- 292,000 copies
