I thought they had taken the time and effort to make things better than Burning Bridges, however, now being worse.

By the way, Jon said the band had recorded together, but do not sound organic, seems recorded as their last albums.

Bon Jovi need a new musical direction, need to Sambora and needs urgently a new producer. Oh, and a miracle for the voice of Jon.
They don't need Sambora, they need him to want to be there. Listen to what he's putting out and come tell me he's the saviour that will fix the trainwreck you think the band is. If you dare say I can't judge what he's doing based on one sample....THIS IS ONE SONG OF 17. There was good on BB, there was crap on BB. Same as all their past albums, every one.

I will clarify. They need a new musical direction because this popy electronic sound begins to sound stale. Need to Sambora because they give a stronger image band, especially to bring the co-writer and his voice, which is a great added value. They need a new producer because the Shanks tricks are increasingly clumsy and do not work.

That's my opinion on the matter. You can disagree if you want.

You're allowed to have an opinion, I'm not trying to discourage that. Sambora was there for every post 2000 album and people aren't raving and hoping for a return to form to that era. He co-wrote every word on The Circle and people bitch about that album. The lyrics are going to be what they are with or without him, the tone of Jons voice will be what it is with or without him. I absolutely agree it's time for a change in producer, and I only want Sambora back if he drops this cool guy shtick and both Jon and Richie agree to write and not worry about one syllable word, universal themes.

Jon did "boom, boom boom's" way before Katy Perry - - like in Keep The Faith in the Bounce tour.

And I loved that.

Yeah, this pretty cool. My only complaint is about the voice recording, especially the first verses, they could have made a better effort to get something good. Then there is the matter of the guitars, that at this point we are used to not listen.

my thoughts are with phil x,he should never have accepted the bon jovi offer
it's one thing to help the band and tour with them(no problem with that) but it's a totally different story to put my name on something where i have ZERO INPUT-INFLUENCE on music, production, guitar sound etc...that can easily destroy my reputation as a great rock guitar player

The dude has played with everyone from avril lavinge, to Kelly Clarkson and he's even featured on the ninja turtles theme from the last movie. I doubt his reputation is gonna be affected by this song, and now we can perfectly see that his "out of the 4 I recorded I wrote 3" was because one (this one) didn't have a solo.....

This is what Phil X does. He comes in, plays what you pay him to play and moves on. This is one of the few times he's gone the next step of playing it live. To play devil's advocate, there IS a solo. It's a memorable lick but not the solo most of us are craving on a song like this. I really hope this is the 1 of the 4 he doesn't think has a solo but there kind of is one.
