I hope my description as a "sound blob" is understandable. But nevertheless, now I really want to know what he will answer. I think it's not unlikely that he will just ignore it, as very few people seemed to have noticed it, if I'm the first one pointing to this.

good ears man!! he ll probably respond . i sent him a tweet a couple days ago saying i like the song and the solo(i was half lying about the solo to be honest) and he responded, i also asked if there will be a second single before the album and responded he is not sure, i guess if thinfs is succesful or not is factor, i d like a second single prior to the album like bb. (saturday night gave me sunday morning was awful imo we dont run was perfect for what it was,) so in an ideal world the second single will be much better which almost never happens

Is it just that the word "Sale" has been cut a bit early? To be honest I struggled to here it on the clip, and that sort of thing pretty much is drowned out in Shanks' wall of sound.

There was a worse one on the 7800 remasters (Price Of Love 1:24 in, sounded badly hacked together).

And don't get me started on the vocals in What's Left Of Me, that whole vocal track is a mistake.

Yeah, that kinda sounds bad, but not entirely different from the other WAN vocal tracks. Plus, I'm afraid this "hacked-together" (as you nicely put it) mess is intentionally on this album... And also, that bass+clap middle part sounds as if it came directly out of the seated-dance-group of some old-age home - not that I want to disrate the people in there

Imo it's pretty obvious to hear on the link I posted a few posts above. And maybe it's just me being especially nit-picky, but I'm hearing it every time I listen to (the full) THINFS and find it actually pretty annoying.

I doubt that this will reach a lot of people who didn't already like the page. Afaik, FB is nice page to reach your own fanbase and to keep them going, but relatively bad if you're trying to gain new fans.

It's on their tweeter page as well. Just Jon, David and Tico. Maybe just to underline that BJ is only 3 guys, the other ones are just hired guns, not official members, whatever that means?

Old Joy, I don't mean to constantly correct you but it's Jon's band, Jon's contract, and they are ALL HIRED GUNS... Dave and Tico were the original members from the beginning and that's where the true "brotherhood" and Jon's loyalty comes into play. It stared with Hugh replacing Alec and now Phil with Richie... It's been that way for the past 21 years and you should know how it works buy now. It's just that simple. Nothing to overthink.

Common sense needs to come into play here. There are times when needs more bodies than others... You can't have a video with just 3 people and no guitarist and the same goes for that promo pic (bty, note to all: that pic has never been officially stated as being the new album cover - it very well could be but it was never officially stated as being so - I've seen a few people make that mistake).

It's not in Jon's voice. It's over his voice. It sounds like a computer notification got in there while he was mixing the tracks... Good spot never the less.
