Is there a link somewhere? I don't see a thread here and it's not on the official site. Was it on Twitter?
It was on the Bon Jovi Facebook page, as part of that "Facebook Live" thing. I thought it was actually quite enjoyable to watch - surprisingly so. He seemed more comfortable to address the band's past, and to specifically compare HAND and TD to THINFS is an interesting move from Jon.

It sounds like it was recorded on a phone or something.

Song itself is average but I don't hate it. It's just not something I'd actively choose to listen to again.

I appreciate that he adds the "...I guess" after saying he's happy to be here while simulanteneously shaking his head

Cohen, Paul Simon and Tom Waits are lyrical influences. Huh. Is Springsteen to obvious to cite, or is this Jon trying to step out of his shadow?

I was actually surprised that he didn't cite Bob Dylan since that's usually the first influence that he mentions in terms of songwriting.

As stated prior, it's interesting how Jon compared this album to TD and HAND... I'm feeling the HAND part but I'm not getting the TD yet... Something For The Pain is probably the most overproduced track on TD so would that song fit on THINFS??? Is the song THINFS the SFTP of TD and there are more mellow tracks to follow? If so, where does Knockout fit in?

Knockout is a song that would sound so much better stripped and slowed down... Now I can't wait to hear Reunion just to compare...

We've only heard two and a half of what? 17 tracks? I still have faith that we'll get a few gems...

he was generous to mention many artists e street band also mentioned along with u2 and others.
this whole thing making jon an imposter in comparison to springsteen gets old...
bruce is a saint for many but jon and the guys created some music during their prime every other peer of theirs would be a least a bit jealous of some of these albums.

jon said if we liked these days hand we ll LOVE thisfs...ok i know he is exaggerating but i believe the album is gonna be strong.
