Now that I've had a few weeks to absorb the 3 news songs and now after hearing the live clip of Knockout, I gotta say that I am enjoying what I'm seeing and hearing so far...

I believe we are getting a live stream from Count Basie so in essence we'll have a live version of the album tonight which I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not... Similar to when WAN was released, it was nice to get the songs live without a Shanks overproduction but the negative is Jon's voice... If it was up to me, I'd rather hear the studio songs first and then hear them as live versions.... So now (just like with WAN), we'll hear the songs live first, then the 30 second snippets, then the 45 second snippets, finally the album.... Overkill... Just release the album!!!!

Rankings:
Labor of Love - 9 /10 - Love this Song - Perfect for Jon's voice - Nothing like the acoustic songs on WAN - This along with Teardrop is where Jon needs to go with his next album - preferably solo - It would be a perfect follow-up to DA.

Knockout - 7/10 - When I first heard this song I thought this was the worst song to date. The boom, boom, boom was turning me off... Now for some reason, this song has grown on me a lot which has kinda been the case with most recent Bon Jovi songs... Because I've been listening to Labor of Love so much and this song is right after in the rotation, it's been drilled into my head and none of those things bother me anymore... Also hearing the live minute soundcheck has put a new flavor in my head... I went from despising this song to actually enjoying it.

THINFS - 7/10 - I like this song but my biggest issue are... Not my first choice as a lead single... It sounds like track 13 on Burning Bridges so because of that, there are 5 other tracks on Burning Bridges that I think are better... Although I'd probably still rank the song the same but I'd probably have a different opinion if it was just a random track on the album and not a lead single...

Reunion - I'm not going to rank it until I hear the studio version but this one should have been thrown onto Burning Bridges... As of now, I feel it was suitable for a moment in time when Jon gave the commencement speech at Rutgers.. We are getting 17 songs, with bonus tracks, for THINFS so why Reunion has been saved for the core 12 is beyond me...

Come On Up to Our House - I like what I hear so far because it's different. I feel that we got so much post 2K music that sounds the same, it's just refreshing to hear something different... Off the chart, not part of the formula... And probably another reason why I cherish Teardrop and Labor so much!!!!

Now we go!!! This is entire review can change again in 12 hours so this is how I feel as of now...
