Not listened to a single song for over 18 months I reckon.
I got the vinyl box set and this one hasnt even been taken out of the box let alone played.
Awful album.
I have no problem with the majority of the songs on the album and think it's better than at least three of the (full studio) albums Bon Jovi released this century. However, It is simply not the type of music I enjoy so I have barely listened to it. For me it's a solid effort that is a million miles away from the reason I got into Bon Jovi and then expanded my tastes through rock and metal.

This got me thinking of Bon Jovi since 2000. The output has been generally poor hasn't it? We are at a stage where the band's output is the majority average to awful. The four classic albums are the anomoly in the span of the career. I am still here because of those albums.

.
This is spot on.
If any other band released THINFS id never even listen to it. Its not the music I like. Even my dad who has been a fan the same amount of time as me says its boring and he cant listen all the way through.

I listen THINFS at least one time per month and couple of songs every day on you tube-videos and still think it is good album, much better than WAN and slightly better than CIRCLE and LH.

I listened to it recently for the first time in a while and to be honest, I struggled with it. I still enjoy This House, Scars and strangely Roller Coaster (which i didn't really think much of when it first came out).

But stuff that I'd previously enjoyed, I found myself not liking as much. I really liked Devil's In The Temple originally, but it did nothing for me now! I think at that stage I was so desperate for a Bon Jovi rock song, that I got over excited about it. Truth is, it's not that good. If it was on some of the previous latter day records it would have been one of the weaker songs. Initially I enjoyed Labour of Love, now I just found it dull....

Still not a fan of Knockout, New Year's Day, Ghost.

Devil in the Temple - potentially their best song for years but as usual the lack of killer solo lets it down.
The guitars on the last few albums have been utterly dog muck.
Scars is just horrible. Great title horrible song about a man who likes to shag his guitar (thats what it sounds like to me ).
God Bless is the only song I really like and bizarrely dont mind Born Again Tomorrow.
The title track - horrible but live its great - the extended solo - why not do that on the album to really kick it off?
Albums a solid 2/10 for me.

If someone had a gun to my head and said chose WAN or THINFS id chose WAN.
They are both poor but WAN has the better songs IMO - Dont get me wrong theres about 6 dire efforts that ill never listen to again.

When listening on vinyl is harder to skip songs and from HAND onwards you really notice the lack of decent tracks and the amount of poor tracks that flood the albums.

Yes, bizzarely, BAT is a nice song.

I find GBTM pleasant as well. Even though the lead guitar line sucks big time.

If SOTG was recorded in the same session as Bitter Wine, I would like it. Now it is "meh".

Ghost also would be better if the production wasn't as flat.

I enjoy Real Love.

The song I have listened to the most from the album, like 5 or 10 times more than any other song of the album, is IWDYH.

I'd say it is better than WAN, but very mediocre as a whole this album.

I really liked to listen to it upon its release and found myself at least skipping through it on car drives quite often the first year.
Now thinking about it - I probably haven't really gone back to it for something between 6 and 12 months.
There's some songwriting on it that I enjoy, but I think the whole album is plagued by mediocre production and the substance just isn't there. Especially Shanks' U2-esque guitar approaches in every second song really turn me off.
I Will Drive You Home is still a great bonus track though.

I really can’t stand Knockout. Both song and video are just horrible.

Some songs I still like. There’s a few which could have been better with a few changes.

Come On Up To Our House bores me.

GBTM had potential but is let down by pedestrian vocals and an irritating, repetitive guitar line. No solo too.

Scars desperately needed Richie’s backing vocals. Also, the guitar work is so lazy. Solo?

Rollercoaster is a great pop-rock song let down by Jon. I hate his vocals.

Reunion was better acoustically.

LWTG is still my fav song on the album.
