Gotta admit the rawness of the live performance benefits some of the songs like NYD for example!

After a couple of listens I can say that I LOVE the new album. Of course I'll have to digest it over the time and my opinion might change, but at the moment for me it is the best album since Keep The Faith as I never rated These Days as high as most of you here (although my all time favourite Bon Jovi song "My Guitar Lies Bleeding in My Arms" is on it). I'm basing it on the fact that I was never so pleased after hearing a new Bon Jovi album for the first time since Keep The Faith. Other albums had to grow on me, maybe except of Bounce, which I also liked straight away. Some of them did (These Days, Lost Highway, The Circle), on some of them I still have to skip some of the songs (Crush, Have A Nice Day) and What About Now will probably never grow on me. I'm certainly buying This House Is Not For Sale vinyl when it's out.
As I also loved Burning Bridges it looks that all hope is certainly not gone for Bon Jovi.

Just asked my girlfriend to read the lyrics and didn't mention Richie and she said it was about him him too. The 'loving our children' line in particular.

Obviously referring to his excuse as to leaving the tour.
