This album has really held up for me. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard it initially (and I was very reluctant to listen to it after Richie's departure and the start of Jon's vocal decline) and I continue to listen to it a lot.

I never got the love for Living With The Ghost or Rollercoaster and I never liked Knockout or Born Again Tomorrow. My favourites were the title track, Devil's In The Temple, Scars On This Guitar, Labour Of Love, I Will Drive You Home.

A definite improvement from What About Now, but it hasn't really had me going back to it for a long time. I can't remember the last time I listened to it.

I have a strange relationship with this album. When I think about the collection of songs, I think they are mostly good and I like the general flow of the album too. If it had Richie's voice and tone and/or Jon's earlier ambition it may be a proper Bon Jovi album. It is probably the most cohesive of the post 2000s albums for me. However, I never listen to it and haven't in years... I also have no desire to. Although, the same can be said for any album post These Days.

Terrible back then, still terrible today. Never got myself into it, and believe me, I tried. It is what it is: A desperate attempt to prove something that's been gone a long time ago.
