i so hope you are true but seems highly unlikely unfortunately...
many of jons comments are harsh and even if he ries to hide it with generic answers its evident that there are still hurt feelings to say the least...
it would be a great surprise but i dont think would join them in an album he had almost nth to do...
on the other hand richies silence is puzzling... i imagine many journalists will have pushed for some statement and nothing... Bon jovi are everywhere and Richie is not participating at all.
i have faith that the director will have portayed him right and that probably there has been some talks behind the curtains to not be present...
in the meanwhile Richies possible return gathers the more traction these days in every doc related press

That's not how promoting a product works. You hold off on releasting information until it's the best time to market it. Saying "Richie is on the album" before the documentary comes out isn't smart.

I absolutely am not hanging too much hope on this theory but if there was something in the doc about the steps forwward with him, you never know. Every few months we get something different from Richie about how therer's been talks.

Or I'm a crackpot and they're just using talkbox again. That's probably more likely haha.

I agree with promotion part, though more likely if they hide something, I would think it's Richie's comeback for tour? Like, they got together, watched the documentary, reconciled somewhat.

Then deal is, Richie does his single/album, Jovi does their (cause material was already mostly written, etc.) and then when and if Jon is ready for touring again, Richie would be welcomed. At least I hope for this scenario. For talkbox I think it's stretched, but would welcome it obviously.

The more interviews I read with Jon the more I'm leaning towards this...

I feel like Jon will be really glad when this promo treck is over and he doesn't have to talk about Richie anymore...

Okay. Okay. I was way off base after watching the doc.

The difference in his tone between the initial interviews and the follow up a full year later is maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassive. And I have to imagine more was said because that's all they used.

Well, it was just over a year ago when Richie was saying he was in talks and pointing towards some sort of reunion. Clearly whatever was going on at that time didn't go well.

I'd love a timeline of when these interviews were. If the main batch was London we'd be looking at around the time of Masked Singer, the one looks to be LA and more recent.

His time at Masked Singer was finish in 13rd, February, 2023. When he as interviewed in the documentary?
