I don't disagree they tend to lend themselves more to Jon solo because of the darker feel to them but regardless so glad they made it on to this release so they didn't wind up sitting on a shelf unheard.
I know... and again, I just don't get it. These songs mean a lot to several people on here that I admire and share similar tastes, so it has to be me on this one. I mean, 100 bon jovi fanatics can't be wrong... right?

I will say for me, going through turmoil at work and in my personal life some of the lyrics just "speak to me" I know that's corny but because the songs are relatable (I know not a word lol) to me it makes me like them more. If I felt ZERO connection to them, I'm sure I'd rate them just as you do.

I picked Blind Love. All in all, is a good bunch of songs, though.

There are a bunch of nice songs but I have to say that I like Fingerprints the most

Jovi' lyrics have always been very direct, so while one person can be extremely moved by a certain lyric/song another person might feel nothing - or even worse - think it is cringeworthy.

Since things are a bit slow here, how has the album held up for you? Are there any songs you still listen to frequently?

I thought the album was decent at launch with an interesting mix of songs but nowadays I only listen to We Don't Run, We All Fall Down, Life is Beautiful and Blind Love.

WDR is easily in my top 5 songs from the band.

We Don't Run is the only song I listen to over and over. There are a few others that I think are OK, but I don't listen to them often.

Fingerprints, Teardrop and We Don't Run still hold up and get plenty of love for me. Who Would You Die For (Whilst I appreciate the attempt), Burning Bridges and We All Fall Down don't interest me these days.

My absolute favourite is I'm your man. Such a compelling melody! Fingerprints is a great ballad, Burning bridges is also good.

On the whole, I think the album sounds exactly like what it was supposed to be: songs that wouldn't make it to an album in the first place. Unlike on What about now, which is one of my favourite albums, on this album most of the songs are very forgettable and feel somewhat soulless.
