Either the NFL got more than one payday out of the halftime performers, or they decided that a band with seven #1 albums that have sold an
average of 12 million copies
each didn't have enough material to fill fifteen minutes. They were rendered a castrated opening act to Beyonce -- a
real rock band would have raised hell and walked.
