Anyhow - while he is a nutter, I doubt he actually is a racist. Sometimes people say disgusting things without implying their terrible connotations. I certainly was guilty of using homophobic language in the past and it's a self-conscious effort to completely remove it from my vocabulary. Sometimes I might still slip a 'you gay bastard' in a random conversation and then I feel terribly guilty. Never ever have I been a homophobe though.

I used to use homophobic language like that a lot as well, back in high school, and I'm trying correct that as well. I'm happy to say I've been pretty successful, and have even manager to correct some of my friends behavior as well, by speaking up about it.
