OK where is Deb when you need her??? She's the numbers geek around here but since she is laid up with a torn hamstring, I will try to make some mathematical sense of Phils statement.
10,000.00 a month is only 2500.00 a week. For a proffessional working session musician who probably makes that a day and who is on tour with one of the best touring bands earning wise in the world this salary is an insult to him and to the band. No pro is going on the road for weeks away from home, leaving a pregnant wife to make less than what he makes staying home and working sessions.
150,000.00 a month seems more realistic to me. And look at it this way, Richie got paid 2million a month to be in rehab, and now 2million a month to stay in Cali while the band works. Of course that number is probably just as accurate as what they said Phil was making.

goes to show how classy that man is. He's doing a fine fine job, he knows his place and I'm sure he understands how much fans miss Richie Sambora. He's simply doing what he's being paid to do, like a true professional. Thumbs up to Phil, that guy never ceases to surprise me in a good way

and I'm not entirely sure Richie makes 2 mil. a month anyways.

I thought Phil's tweet was offensive and far from classy.

Of course you did. Yet probably not offended at all that Richie walked off the tour with zero explanation.

Why? It's true. Do you really think he only makes $10k a month for playing lead guitar on a tour grossing the kind of money that this one is? Please. $120k per year isn't even upper class in the United States.

No, I was never offended by that, because I don't care. It doesn't affect me. I don't care for the band much anymore. So why would I take it personally?

It was the way he said it. He could have worded it differently.

I think his tweet was fine. The article was offensive to Phil X when it indicated he was making $10,000 a month for touring with Bon Jovi. Based on his previous work and his performance on tour, it is obvious that he should and is getting paid more than.

It's a common way of.phrasing that kind of statement in a joking manner. Picture him saying it in a Diva-like way like a super model which is where the phrasing comes from. I believe it was Naomi Campbell that coined the phrase "i don't get out of bed for under $10,000 a day"
