Yes, the pendant itself is in the shape of the superman logo, OBVIOUSLY  but anyone who knows the significance of receiving one knows it's simply referred to as the SWW pendant.

And they're not double S's, they're skid marks. Modeled after the Slippery When Wet road sign. ;)

I guess they're not as rare and special as they once were. You too can own an authentic SWW diamond pendant given by Jon to a record producer.

If I had money, I'd bid just to say I have it. But there is only 1 day left in a 10 day auction, it's at $1500 and the reserve has not been met. (Value lists $3500 to $7K, seems like a big gap there too?) Looks like it may not be that in demand, or at least by anyone with the $ either. Bet Jon is not happy if he see's this auction. Surprised they don't come with a non-public sale clause.

If I had the money, I'd bid on it, but I'm broke these days! I certainly don't have money for anything like that!

Even if there's 300 of them out there, its still pretty rare. I would be honored to have one (legitimately, not from a auction). But heaven forbid Phil actually feel honored by it

He also explained an earlier comment during an interview in Australia about a difference of “pace” in the band. Says Sambora: “When we mature in our age, you have a different pace, because it gets so complicated with family. The guys had a different pace and I didn’t agree with it. Everybody thinks you are nuts because this rock star life is such a glamorous thing, but let me tell you something. In the ‘80s it was fantastic, but now, there is nothing going on.”

In other words he thinks the recent material isn't good enough and doesn't want to keep rushing out crap records then have to play the material live. Also seems to be saying he found touring with the band a lonely experience.
