All of those snippets have been well known for years.

I like the guitar buried in the mix on the verses. Other than that, nothing special.

The main attraction of the snippet, to me, is that it sounds like somebody said "we want this thing to sound as 2002 as possible". I mean, it _is_ from the Bounce sessions, no? The "guitar" tones, Jon's vocals, the writing itself, it's all extremely of that era. And I like that era.

The song (what we know of it) itself is nothing special.

I already did. The vocal decline still doesn’t explain why his whole presence as a performer made a 360 degree turn and his genuine energy, enthusiasm and spontaneity on stage seemed to disappear completely. Everything has seemed so scripted after the BWC tour.
