I hate to add to all of the "fake theories", but what if Richie received some medical news after he returned from his vacation in Hawaii. Maybe a diagnosis that had to receive short term treatment immediately (like radiation?). I am not saying it was life threatening but did have to be taken care of immediately. This possibility fits with:

1. Last minute decision not to join tour- no notice to band
2. No choice in the matter
3. A "personal" issue that only Richie can tell the world about (according to Matt).

Ok. I am ready for all of your "creative" responses. Bring it on....

He is fine and it's nothing to do with the hospital.

Alright, while my rendition of Every Road was rendering I had some time to record RonJovi's take on What's Left Of Me. I have to admit I rewrote many lines in the song, some lines didn't flow well and, well, I felt some other things needed to be addressed. :D
