That's a little bit of a jump. My bet is underwhelming ticket sales. Toronto has a LOT of seats left.

Confirming that Philly and New York are cancelled.

I doubt they would admit it was for low ticket sales, so some bullshit medical reason would have to do which absolutely blows for all concerned, especially as he seem in such good form last night. It could have been a flight issue if just for tomorrows, but not for next week unless they have stuck him in quarantine!

Agreed. I'm sure Philly and New York sold much better than Toronto but a sick excuse blankets it. I cannot believe this.

Oh wow...I am very upset for my friend - and those - who are flying that way and were in the fc trip. I hope there is a new date but obviously the flights can't be admended. :(

I wondered what happened. He looked ok yesterday and really seemed enjoying it. :(

Postponed until early 2013 due to laryngitis is whats being said on Twitter

Captain_jovi 10-17-2012 09:07 PM

"Best Buy Theater
Richie Sambora's upcoming concert in NYC at the Best Buy Theater on October 22nd is being postponed at the direction of his doctors. Purchased tickets for can be refunded at the point of purchase.

Richie unfortunately had to cancel this performance due to doctor’s orders that he go on full vocal rest, as he is suffering from a case of laryngitis following a couple months of promotion for his recently released solo album Aftermath of the Lowdown, which included a run of sold-out shows in Europe. He is incredibly disappointed to not be able to perform for his fans this month. Richie looks forward to rescheduling this performance in early 2013.

"I was really looking forward to getting out there and playing my new record for people.” Sambora said. “Unfortunately, things come up in life that you cannot control. I hope my fans will understand. I'll definitely make it up to them and look forward to seeing them in NYC soon.”
