If they didn't really need the money from this tour when they set it up, they probably need it now.
The rumors of an Asian tour began in late March, and was officially announced in mid-July along with the release of Burning Bridges. They announced the split with the label a month later in Vancouver (a show that was not a money maker), during which time they probably added the title track. Losing those China gigs had to have hurt financially, too, despite their being able to replace them. |
