Setlist fit the last ever Bon Jovi show

I know, I know it's pretty much another tired old guess the setlist game, but I've been thinking about it a lot recently and was wondering what songs everyone would want included in the last ever Bon Jovi show. I feel like a final encore of Last Man Standing and Never Say Goodbye would be appropriate. Any thoughts? Maybe Rocking All Over The World to open?

bonjovi90 10-23-2014 03:30 PM

It should finish like THIS:

Savvi 10-23-2014 04:24 PM

Final Encore
Whole Lot of Leavin'
Always
Never Say Goodbye
Livin on a Prayer

Three fitting "farewell" songs that tell a story (we're leaving, we'll always love you, goodbye but not forgotten), and the defining career song to close. I'd probably cry through the whole thing lol.

It will probably all come to an end with a 20 minute version of "Who Says" with about 5 mins worth of "It's alright!"...

In all honesty, the set lists should definitely be different every night of the farewell tour, at least 5 or 6 rarities thrown in and songs from every album they made. It would be their last tour ever, so why not? Go out in a blaze of glory with some killer sets! No more vanilla!

Awesome!

I would replace Always with These Days (even though I prefer the former), just because it has more of a 'farewell' meaning than Always; which should definitely be played earlier in the set. But otherwise, it's great. Especially loved the Whole Lot of Leavin' inclusion; not something that each of us would think of, but makes perfect sense.

I'll Be There For You with the opening lyric changed to "I guess this time we're really leaving. I heard my suitcase say goodbye.

MrIks from Finland 10-24-2014 04:44 PM

Encore:
Dry County
Something to Believe in
I Believe
Always
These Days
Never Say Goodbye

Panda 10-24-2014 05:11 PM

I think this would be the best encore for the final show:

Encore 1:
These Days
Something To Believe In
Letting You Go

Encore 2:
Hey God
I Believe
Damned
Any Other Day

Encore 3:
Dry County
Let It Rock
Wild In The Streets
Blood On Blood

Encore 4:
Tokyo Road
Always
This Ain't A Love Song

Encore 5:
Love For Sale
Ride Cowboy Ride
Wanted Dead Or Alive

Encore 6:
Livin' On A Prayer
Summertime

I think he was trolling with that last track...at least that's what I hope he was doing :D

united17 10-24-2014 10:20 PM

Encore:
Captain Crash
Because We Can
I Love This Town

I kid, I'd like them to throw in Story of My Life somewhere but end with Prayer.

Best finish I've ever experienced at a show. I will never witness something like that again…

JerseyGiant 11-04-2014 11:01 PM

My final show at wembley! With fireworks! Encores coming out of their arse and no hangers on Jon Richie Dave Tico and Hugh the band "Bon Jovi" last song would be "Always" extended to about 15 mins long x)

I know a lot points to the end but I don't think it's even close.

With Bruce and The Stones still going, Jon will not throw in the towel just yet. Plus, they are still one of the #1 touring bands out there.

I think there will be more time between albums and tours. There might be a reinvention as well. I could see half acoustic/half electric type shows so Jon could get through the older hits.

If there was a final show or tour, it would probably end with an acoustic version of NSG. Other than that, Jons not corny enough to play a series of songs that represent the end. Plus by that time, his vocal capabilities will probably limit him from doing anything of that sort anyway. It will be a normal show... Jon like when they play Homecoming. They might do something like I Love This Town but all in all, it's a regular show.

Encore should go like this:

1. Blood on Blood
2. In These Arms
3. Livin' On A Prayer

Oh come on - in the 6 years I've been on this board I've read this post like a hundred times from that user. I thought by know each member would know about that and the user's obsession with these two songs :D

How does someone who spends as much time as you do on this forum over the years not know about BOBITA? She rarely posts anymore, but when she does you can count on her mentioning how BOBITA should be on every setlist. :D
