True -- "Bon Jovi Touring Guitarist" would have been impressive enough.

I'm pretty sure it was the promoter's idea, though. I doubt MattO would be releasing a single and album with the release of This House allegedly on the horizon. Besides, what else could they write -- "NOT featuring Bon Jovi's keyboard player"?

Oh absolutely, I'm not saying he is going around town demanding that makes it to the posters, I just think he's really drilling the David co-write (and I would too) but going off of him being the new lead guitarist implies he's 100 percent still in the band and like he's replacing Richie.

Given the way the BJ camp handles these things... this might not be a smart idea at all. I mean, did Bobby or Phil X ever toss that label around / allow promoters to do so? Let alone put up flyers saying so on their official social media channels?

No but they're very careful about that sort of thing. Phil going as far as to state that he plays WITH Bon Jovi but not IN Bon Jovi. Bobby already had a big legacy before being a touring guitarist so his solo shows were promoted like a resume. This is not very tasteful IMO, He's Bobby's replacement, Not Richies the LEAD there is a too much.

The reason Matt joined touring was because Bobby had solo performances, right? Or was it that he didn't want to anymore? The sure thing is that he still plays with JBJ solo with Lorenza.

Is there a change to have Bobby back on touring?

Bobby said in an interview not so long ago that he's reached an age where he's not so sure that he wants to keep on going on world tours.

So, Matt seems to be joining the default tour members!
