I was finally able to hear it (thanks for the help).
As far as I understand it Alec called Jon a "big lib" (liberal). Nothing new so far.
And as the most republican they can't accept that a liberal might be a patriot as well. Alec doesn't sound bitter to me. It's very political controvers to Jon but it doesn't sound personal to me.
