I can't remember if it was Not Running Anymore or Old Habits, but Jon said he recorded a bunch of versions, some supposedly with the band, some for the movie and some in sync with the movie scene. I'll have to dig that one up.

I remember when he had originally said that we assumed he meant including the 5 version of his Stand up guys songs, but 43 is quite a number and it makes you wonder how the 12 were chosen.

Also I think Richie's quote about Bounce: " Bounce wasn’t so much fun, but we still shivered it up in everybody’s ass and made a lot of fun. That’s true." I could swear he said "made a lot of money", not fun. But you did a hell of a job collecting these quotes, this was a great read.

If I remember rightly the 43 songs Jon speaks about includes Richie's solo album, What About Now and Jon's movie songs. He spoke about this at the fan club show where he first played The Fighter, Not Running Anymore and Old Habits.

I would love to see a young producer do a Bon Jovi record, but it's doubtful it will ever happen unless Shanks is too busy. I don't have any names, but there's people out there with good ideas to freshen things up. Another problem is would JBJ listen to someone with no track record tell him he's wrong / we need a tenth take / NO hey hey heys?

The fact that Jon is "very happy" with What About Now is worrying.

I don't think he is. The lack of songs that got played live from that album says it all. If I remember right, didn't Jon say the songs on that album were sung the way he can sing them live? Or something along those lines...

He is hardly going to say that he isn't happy with it whilst trying to plug the album/tour.
