I posted a topic in the general section but he said... No album and tour for quite a while. The last tour took a toll on him.

I really dont know what to make of these events. I would dearly love to be there for one, and obviously meet Jon, However I am not a fan of bleeding fans of hard earned cash, I am in no way suggesting that these trips do this, but I would annoyed if, having paid out all this money that I would be treated like a lemming.
To the Fans that have been on a Runaway Experience and had the oppurtunity to meet JBJ, what did you make of the whole thing.

I do appreciate that it HAS to have some sort of formal organising and therefore JBJ does have to get through all of the fans so he wont be chatting to each and everyone etc etc. but for those of you who have been on a tour how was JBJ, was he cool and at ease or was he just going through the motions with a standard greeting, and the move on....

Again personally I funds were to allow, I would be there so in no way am I criticising the folks that are lucky enough to do this. Im just curious how these things work and "feel"

What are the odds for getting some video footage from this show? Cool setlist. Would love to hear it.

Yeah me too. I would love there to be a decent audio bootleg too but the chances of that are nil.

Wow! Amazing setlist! Destination Anywhere, would be great to see a video of it. Does anybody have any information when was the last time Destination Anywhere was played? Must be over 10 years??

The last time Destinaion Anywhere was played was in July in NYC

Only the second time ever You Had Me From Hello has been done live so that's kind of cool. I'd love to hear an acoustic version of Last Man Standing.

Jon sounds pretty good but this is also his comfort zone and the way I predicted he'd go out. This is the only way he's going to do justice to his back catalog.

I'm positively surprised what I was hearing. I was afraid Jon would sing the chorus of Destination Anywhere one octave lower like he is doing for example with Santa Fe nowdays. Very good in my opinion.

Him needing to pull those faces to reach those notes is laughable. If you're a singer, it's really not that hard, especially not in that key, as it's relatively safe for pretty much anyone. I just tried myself, and I'm really not a spectacular singer, but I can do a job just as good as him, if not better. So far all he's got left is a bit of his usual tone, but even that is slowly going away. Once that's gone, he's done. Destination Anywhere's slightly higher and he's flat right away.

You're laughable. I thought Have A Little Faith was brilliant and passionate. You go on about how Jon pulls faces to get to high notes. He's been doing that for 10 years. So what. Like Richie has never pulled a stupid face when on stage....who gives a shit. He sounded better and refreshed. Destination Anywhere sounded decent enough - but by your own admission you cant really pass judgement on something taken by a fan on a mobile phone can you Seb. Oh yeah. You did.

No we haven't let that go yet. Some posters on here were conceived through anal sex, they're that much of an asshole. But to be fair though, Richie was playing guitar a lot better than Jon was during his rendition of Have A Little Faith.

Yeah me too. I guess some people are just all too quick to piss on something - because:

1) they like the sound of their own voice (in their head)
2) they like the sight of their words on screen
3) they like to poke a hornets nest because the Viagra aint working anymore and seeing people react just gives them that little...ya know...rustle

Seb, Jon has lost a lot of range and his voice has become quite weak, but every time you point out his voice problems, you act, as if it is completely his fault, which is not the case.

Played tens of thousands of shows over last 30 years have you? Do that first then have a go then its a level playing field.

Now, Supersonic may be the best nude dribbling penis holding singer in the world, but why is it even important to the discussion is what I am thinking. Do we now assume Jon was bad because someone on a forum can sing it too, or does that means Supersonic is an outstanding singer, or does one guy's opinion when singing in his bedroom mean nothing?

On the wider point, I think Jon sounds pretty bad too, so I agree with him actually, although I didn't practise it myself.
