"Holy Crap -- Dave Bergman Took Pictures of US?"

"He's finally figured out that Bon Jovi does NOT consist of identical quadruplets? Look out out the window and see if there are any pigs flying around, Dave..."

"I can't do that -- I'm Jewish!"

Aloha !

This guy's pictures are only this good because he's the only one who can get that close. There's been pictures posted on this board that have been better than his stuff. The lightning in several pictures of him is really odd, as shown in the second picture with David on it. Not that anyone cares though, he caters for an audience that's clueless when it comes to this stuff so it's easy money for both Bergman and Bon Jovi.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Bergman takes concert pictures, not concert photos.

He's a sports photographer by trade, and good one -- I sincerely salute the skill he has acquired with stop action in natural light. But his portraits and indoor concert pics "expose" his lack of experience with low-light stop action and depth of field: fog banks always seem to be rolling in, and everything tends to look two-dimensional. On top of that, he expects you to pay top dollar for his photos without doing the most basic cropping and retouching! He should have done what's called a "burn" on the Dave pic if he was going to use it at all:

See the difference? And along with the concert photos that some of us mere fans could put up against Bergman's best work, I've done screen captures that I'd be willing to chip in!
