Indie music (especially Indie Rock) is my favourite kind of music for now so this is interesting info for me.

Lyrics? Somebody Told Me, Jackie Big Tits, That's Not My Name... many of big Indie hits have "original" lyrics.

I see that's is coming something fresh from Sambora and I like fresh music but we will see whatr they have done..

Just my two cents:

A new version of The Answer, Ballad of Youth, Harlem Rain won't sell a fashion label, which is what is intended of the music. If you don't regularly, listen to Sandstorm or Stereo Love, you won't like the music regardless of whether it has Richie's name on it or not.

I think he is a fool but then again, I have never experienced, seen or heard a mid life crisis to the extent Richie seems to be going through.

I knew this woman was no good I wonder why Richie is doing the fashion line as she is doing it and he does nothing ..;but I wonder even more why Richie lost his mind to do a recrod (and THAT style) with her instead of doing a proper solo .... THIS IS THE ULTIMATE SAD NEWS :(

Richie's career is definitely going in the right direction. This is a guitarist that hasn't looked decent on stage in years yet goes into fashion thinking he has the right idea of what would look good on someone else. The next song will be called "Can you see if I'm wearing it to the right or the left (in these tight pants)"

I think it's meant to be guerilla dance music (from an earlier interview with Richie) , it was just misspelt in that report.

At least 'guerilla' makes it sound cooler.

Am I the only one whose not bothered by this? I mean, it's mind numbingly stupid but why get personally offended by it? If Richie wants to have a fashion line and mess around with some tracks in his down time, all the power to him. Frankly, this hope that he's going to release a solo record like SITT or US is crazy.

I must agree. I don't want to comment on it because I don't care. Just like I didn't care about Jon's politics/football team etc. because it's the band I care about and it's healthy for them to do other things outside of the band to keep them focused in the long term etc.

If I honestly thought that he'd actually do a "real" solo album, too, it wouldn't bother me. But this is Richie we're talking about. The third solo album probably wouldn't have happened anyway, but this just makes it that much more disappointing.

Oh man! I can't accept this! I don't think that the new song will rock our world! I think he choose the wrong music partner. Hope that no one will mess up his music career.

This. I mean, this particular collaboration sounds rather uninspiring to me, but it's his life and it's not like he's murdering anyone.

I don't see what the big deal is, the soundtrack is for the WTB runway shows. Jon has his football and whatever, David has his musicals, Tico has his art and now Richie has his fashion line. If it keeps him busy and happy than all the power to him. As for another solo album I'd love one but am not going to hold my breath cause Richie's going to do what Richie wants to do. I just hope if he does it, it's sooner that later am not getting any younger here:rolleyes:
