I have both but nothing in remastered quality. Although I appreciate the efforts, these recordings can't be remastered due to the excessive high pitched screaming girls. Songs like...

Silent Night
Sole Truth
Take Me Home
...are all treasures but are just ruined forever. I've tried all sorts of tricks like removing vocals or replacing certain parts that repeat in other areas of the songs to overlap the screams and nothing comes out good.
It's unfortunate because the recording aren't too bad in terms of quality and would be somewhat enjoyable if it wasn't for the screams.
Maybe there will be a technology that will remove that one day but right now, it's just not there, not even for professionals.
I noticed that 90% of the screams occur when Jon is NOT singing so someone could re-record just the music and then add Jon's vocals to the mix. The few screams that actually do occur when Jon does sing could be adjusted.... That's the only possibility but who the heck would do that anyway. |
