Yeah, he has never been able to sing live. The guy always sounds horrible in a live setting, I don't know how much he has to be "tamed" in the studio to get the awesome voice out. He's said it himself, he doesn't know how his voice works. Sometimes he can hit the note, sometimes he can't.

To be honest, mostly he can't. And it's not just the high notes, it's any note.

That's why I always loved Jon's live vocals and also Steven Tyler's. They could both sing with a unique voice, scream, hit high notes etc. never been a fan of Bach or Axl performing live, but they used to be great in the studio.

So true. Iceman is a smug, self-satisfied bully-prick who thinks he knows way more than he does. He so often states things as fact which he has no clue about.

ice ice baby. I remember you ! You had excellent guitar skills )

Don't think Jon or a lot of rock singers would say they were the best singers in the world, surely it's about the whole package. Look at all also he couldn't sing live either.
