Nice to see all the hard work of people recording and requesting no-one converts to MP3...and now it all gets converted to MP3. There's even one near the top of the page which looks like Seb recorded, it has all the lineage, and they've just converted to MP3 anyway and shared it!

That's a very nice website. However, I do wish there was a separate section for pro (soundboard) recordings. I'm definitely on the downward slope of my interest in Bon Jovi, so I have no desire to listen to old audience recordings. And going through all of the years is a bit time consuming. However, I will go through them when I'm bored, so thanks a lot!

Yeah - it's a losing battle. What is strange is that nowadays space is usually not an issue and so many players will play flac files natively. I used to put Rockbox on my iPhone (when I had one) and that played flac files. Now my Android phone plays flac with no problem at all and I also have a 128 gig card in the same phone. That's a lot of music without converting or bastardizing anything.

I appreciate the shout out, but frankly I don't really care about this stuff anymore. I did a lot of people a favour by recording those 5 shows, but as for caring for high quality? Once it's out there, it's out there. And who am I to tell someone how to listen to music anyway? I got into bootlegs by 5 compilation CD's consisting of 50 bootlegs with an average bitrate of 128 kbps and then expanded my horizon by getting that dimeadozen account. I reckon everyone should just realize that you can't expect people to keep high quality standards in a time where MP3 is still promoted as the norm and music is listened to on cheap headphones, or cheap computer speakers. In the end the serious collectors will know the difference, and if this means more people will get to enjoy those recordings I made in Canada back then, I'm all for it.
